Closed since 2005, La Samaritaine is reopening to the public today, 23 June, after impressive works. This legendary Parisian superstore should have welcomed its customers again in 2020, for its 150th anniversary, but the pandemic decided otherwise. A look back at the history of this emblematic establishment of the prestigious LVMH Group.
A jewel of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, the four buildings – one of which is listed as a Historic Monument – underwent a major restructuring that also had to respect and enhance the period features: mosaics, enamels, stained glass windows and wrought iron railings.
Under its impressive glass roof, there will be a large shopping centre, a luxury hotel, offices, restaurants, social residences and a nursery.
ATALIAN is pleased to support La Samaritaine in its long-awaited reopening. Our teams, in place on the site since the beginning of 2021 for a refurbishment first of all, now include around thirty ATALIAN employees who will work every day to ensure the cleaning of the site.

As a long-standing partner of LVMH, ATALIAN has earned the trust of this prestigious client over the years and has once again proved this with La Samaritaine, for which we have met high criteria such as :
-
A very high level of exigency requiring operational excellence
-
High expectations in the management of the service
-
A capacity to develop monitoring tools and innovations
-
Our eco-responsible CSR policy.
« A project team was set up to meet the high standards of La Samaritaine. It is needless to say that we are very proud to be La Samaritaine’s partner, especially during this key period of the long-awaited reopening to the public, after 16 long years of renovation »
